The city of Indianapolis in the United States is on the hunt for plans to revamp its downtown Monument Circle area
This open ideas competition seeks to generate creative concepts and ideas that can re-imagine the Monument Circle area of Indianapolis.
Officially known as the Indiana Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument, the ‘neoclassical’ public area opened in 1901 and was designed by German architect Bruno Schmitz.
The winning concepts will inform ‘future planning and uses’ for the area.
Schemes which consider programming, land use and activities are encouraged.
The submission deadline is 15 April, with judging to take place in May
