Masterplanner sought for 277ha Indian business park
A leading Indian container port is seeking a masterplanner for a new business district
The project will create a new 277 hectare ‘multi-product special economic zone’ close to the port which has yet to be named.
Special economic zones (SEZ) are areas where certain taxes are waivered and more liberal economic laws introduced to promote foreign investment and exports.
SEZs currently under construction in India include the 4,500 hectare Khed City development by HOK.
The latest competition is open to ‘globally reputed and experienced’ architects, masterplanners and engineering design consultants.
The deadline for requests to participate is 26 August.
