Marketplace competition launches in Tenerife
[Requests to participate must be received by 21 November 2011] The Spanish city of La Laguna has launched a competition to design a marketplace in the north of Tenerife
A two phase international competition, proposals are sought for structures and facilities to replace the historic market demolished due to structural concerns in 2007.
Located in the Plaza del Adelantado , the market’s 100 stalls now occupy a 2,700m² temporary structure on the site.
Improved energy performance and innovative proposals are sought while retaining ‘rational and efficient organization.’
A prize fund of 55,000 Euros has been announced with the winner also receiving the service contract.
