Maquinarias service centre in Lima, Peru
[Deadline for registration is 5 September] Peruvian Nissan dealership Maquinarias has initiated an international design competition to enlarge and modernise one of its service centres in Lima
Each design team is allowed a maximum of six people and must include at least one qualified architect. The winner will receive $15,000 plus an additional $60,000 in professional fees with the project’s completion. The contest entry fee is £62 if received before 27 June.

The existing structures of the dealership should be incorporated with new proposals.
The contest organisers hope the project can be used as a model for efficient building in the country. The design must reach Peruvian safety standards and ‘international standards of quality, safety and technology.’
