Manchester uni seeks architect for £200m engineering campus

[Completed PQQs are due 29 July] The University of Manchester is on the hunt for an architect to deliver its £200 million engineering campus development

New build and refurbishment works for the project which is the first part of a £1 billion planned expansion of the prestigious university.

Demolition and ‘heritage refurbishment’ services may also be required for the project which involves the relocation of the university’s faculty of engineering and physical sciences department from its north campus to a new site to the south.

Five teams will be shortlisted following the return of PQQs. The contract with the winning team is expected to start in June and complete by autumn 2018.

Completed PQQs are due by 29 July. Registration is required before documents will be made available.
