Ljubljana's 24th Biennial of Design opens call for applications

The 24th Biennial of Design in Ljubljana, Slovenia has launched an international call for applications to take part in the 2014 event

Open to professionals and students, selected entrants will be divided into twelve teams briefed with themes including affordable living, public water public space, walking the city and an open category.

Work will be exhibited from 18 September to 7 December 2014 after forming part of the Biennial, and an award will be given to the ‘best collaboration’.

Organized by the MAO Museum of Architecture and Design in Ljubljana, the event will be curated by Belgian critic Jan Boelen; founder of Z33 House for Contemporary Art.

Applications must be received by 12 January 2014 through the competition’s registration page.
