The Van Alen Institute in New York is receiving entries to ‘Life at the Speed of Rail’ a design competition exploring the cultural, environmental, and economic impact of a potential new rail network in the United States
Following president Barack Obama’s high-profile pledge in support of high-speed rail infrastructure, the open ideas contest seeks imaginative visions for the how the country could be transformed.
The deadline for entries is May 21.
