Kosovo heritage competition launched
[Registration to be completed 15 June] Sweden’s Cultural Heritage without Borders has opened an international ideas contest to reconnect three heritage sites in Vushtrri, Kosovo
Open to students and professionals, the contest focusses on the north-eastern city’s Stone Bridge, Hamam of Ali Bey and ‘Old Castle’ sites which are currently inaccessible to the public.
Entries will be judged on ‘concept, relationship to landscape, sustainability, ideas about materials and ascribing new values to the cultural heritage sites.’
Three finalist entries will share a £1,700 prize fund and be exhibited.
Submissions are welcomed in English and are expected before 15 July. Registration is open throught the contest page until 15 June with teams limited to a maximum of five members.
