Ipswich seeks architect for Cornhill regeneration

[PQQ must be returned by 22 April] Ipswich Council is seeking innovative and ‘exemplar’ schemes for its Cornhill regeneration project

The local authority is hoping to appoint an experienced ‘design–led’ team for the project to transform Cornhill into the city’s ‘main activity hub’.

The project will link Ipswich’s central square to other regions in the city with the successful design expected to reflect the area’s history ‘whilst looking forward.’

Services required include urban design, architecture to detailed design, structural engineering, quantity surveying and surveying alongside providing guidance on funding and construction cost advice.

The winning team will be invited to submit proposals for the scheme’s delivery and the three best submissions will be awarded prizes.
