Ipswich seeks architect for 75 new homes

Ipswich Borough Council is seeking an architect for a new housing development in the north of the historic Suffolk city

Around 75 dwellings will be constructed on a single site in Bramford Road under council plans to expand its housing stock.

The county town of Suffolk currently has 8,500 council homes and a population of around 117,000 residents.

The new Bramford Road homes will be built to Level 4 Code for Sustainable Homes requirements.

The winning team will develop the designs up to RIBA Stage 3 ahead of a planning application.

The deadline for applications is 28 May.
