‘Iconic landmark’ contest launches for Wisbech town centre

Fenland District Council in Cambridgeshire has begun a contest looking for an ‘iconic landmark’ project for Wisbech town centre

Entrants are invitied to submit residential, commercial or mixed use schemes for Wisbech town centre.

Calling for a ‘bold’ statement for the area, shortlisted teams will be invited to develop their schemes for a judging panel in late November.

Teams must register by 30 August with a submission deadline set at 11 October.

Winners will be decided at the council’s building awards ceremony 9 December.
