Home of Concorde hunts architects for 'revival' project

The Brooklands Museum in Weybridge is looking for a design team to deliver its Brooklands Aircraft Factory and Race Track Revival Project

Works at the home of Concorde and the ‘birthplace of British motorsport and aviation’ include relocating and conserving the listed 1,675m² Bellman Hangar together with the design of a new 1,100m² exhibition facility. The project is understood to have secured £7 million in lottery funding.

A lead consultant is called for providing architectural, structural and landscape design services alongside conservation and CDM professionals.

Requests to participate are required by 16 August with the tender’s documents available through the allocated page.
