Hadrian’s Wall visitor centre contest opens
[Expressions of interest to be received by 19 July] The Northumberland National Park Authority is seeking architectural design services for a £5.7 million visitor centre and youth hostel at the Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site
The project is part of a £10.5 million investment drive, known as the The Sill, which aims to increase opportunities for visitor participation across the park, with the visitor centre’s successful applicant to receive £300,000 in design fees.
Sustainability consultancy, civil and structural engineering and management services are also called for in separate lots.
