Hackney launches skyscraper contest
[Completed PQQs should be returned by 14 May] Hackney Council is seeking architects to design two residential towers within the Colville Estate in North Hoxton, London
The £25 million project calls for ‘architectural flair and innovation’ and aims to ‘create interest in the skyline’.
The scheme features towers of 14 and 20 storeys located opposite Shoreditch Park.
The successful practice will work up designs to RIBA Stage D with further works dependant on planning permission.
The towers are hoped to drive the area’s regeneration programme by creating a new mixed use neighborhood.
Completed PQQs should be returned by 14 May
The contract will be awarded 23 July
