'Emerging architects' wanted for New York sculpture park residency

New York City’s Socrates Sculpture Park has begun its yearly international hunt for ‘emerging architects’ to take part in its 2014 studio residency

Architects are wanted to take part in a two month-long residency from March 2014.

The theme ‘architectural folly’ invites large scale proposals and installations, with a production budget of £3,100.

Submitted schemes should focus on the south-east corner of the park, beside the entrance, and be safe for the public to access when unattended.

Submissions are due by 7 January with details available on the park’s page.
