The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, a pavilion for Littlehampton and the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. The editor’s pick of this week’s top competitions

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society is seeking a design team for the £7 million refurbishment of the Grade II*-listed Philharmonic Performance Hall (pictured). Five shortlisted teams will be invited to tender for the project, which is planned to complete in 2014. [PQQs must be returned by 19 March]

Littlehampton Town Council in West Sussex is on the hunt for an architect to design and implement a 400m² seafront pavilion.Planned as a focal point for the town’s seafront, the scheme will include performance space, sheltered seating and be built from anti-vandalism and weather-resistant materials. [Expressions of interest must be received by 26 March]

Designs for the ‘poor city’ area of Denmark’s annual Roskilde Festival are being sought. Part of the sixth largest music festival in Europe, the district features installations focusing on poverty and homelessness, and is expected to welcome 15,000 visitors. The winner will provide a full set of working drawings. [Submissions must be received by 1 March]
