East London’s Geffrye Museum, Innovation Centre of the British Antarctic Survey and a 3,000 new home framework with Hyde group. The editor’s pick of this week’s top competitions

The Geffrye Museum Trust in London has relaunched its search for an architect. The 1,300m² development will create an entrance opposite Hoxton Station, exhibition spaces, restaurant and conference facilities. The brief has been revised to retain the former pub at 32 Cremer Street. [Interest to be received by 17 January 2014]

The Innovation Centre of the British Antarctic Survey in Cambridge is looking for an architect-led team to upgrade its facilities with the aim of increasing collaboration between business and academic bodies. Architectural and landscape design services are needed to head a team including structural and building services design. [Entries are due by 20 January 2014]

The Hyde Group is tendering services for a three-year framework. With a £6.8 million yearly budget, the winner will deliver 3,000 homes across the South East. Covering new-builds, renovations and extensions, there are two lots; for projects with a value of up to £3,000,000 and those above £2,000,000. [PQQs due 13 January]
