Competitions: Editor's Pick, 18.08.11

Silverman Architectural Competition launched in New York City, a four-year housing design framework in Edinburgh, and the British Railways Board seeks bridge design services. The editor’s pick of this week’s top competitions.

Launched by the developer Silverman, this international competition seeks proposals for three sites across New York City. A $3,250 prize fund is available for each site’s winning entrant [Entries must be received by 16 September]

The charity Link Group seeks architects services for a four-year Framework agreement; set to provide a range of design services from affordable housing to special requirement homes [Requests to participate must be received by 3 October]

The British Railways Board require architects for a range of works including bridge design in this three-year agreement, covering approximately 4,000 structures across England, Scotland and Wales [Requests to participate must be received by 3 October]
