Edinburgh Printmakers is seeking an architect for a £5.7 million new base inside the decaying former headquarters of the North British Rubber Company (pictured) in Fountainbridge. The prestigious arts charity will relocate from its 23 Union Street home to the Grade C-Listed Castle Mills complex in 2017 [Deadline for requests to participate 6 June]

Milan has launched an international competition for a £2.8 million urban park on an inner city overpass next to Milano Porta Garibaldi train station. Ten projects will be shortlisted for the proposed new cultural and recreational space and the winner of the anonymous contest will receive £30,000 [Deadline for submissions 17 June]

Swiss public broadcaster Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS) has opened an international contest for a new 30,000m² campus in Lausanne. Set to open in 2019, the facility overlooking Lake Geneva will be a base for radio, television and multimedia production. The competition language is French [Deadline for requests to participate 26 May]
