Liverpool Hope University is searching for an architect to design a two-storey extension to its science and sports facilities. Housing laboratories and sporting equipment alongside catering areas, the building should achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating at the end of the 20-month contract. Associated landscaping works are expected to link to the science building. [Requests to participate received by 23 September]

Peabody is on the hunt for a landscape architect for works to Roscoe Street in Islington’s Whitecross Street estate. Expected to be staged works, the appointed architect will act as lead consultant while managing other specialists. The contract has an anticipated £150,000 value, with works due to start in October 2013 for completion in August 2015. [Expressions of interest due 2 September]

The National University of Ireland in Galway is looking for design teams to convert its civil engineering workshops into a new theatre and performance centre. The three-year suppliers’ contract is worth £130,000, and tendering teams are required to offer all necessary design services under one appointment. [Tenders due 5 September]
