Durham university seeks architect for physics research facility

[Requests to participate must be received by 13 March] The University of Durham is seeking architect-led teams to design a new physics facility on its science campus

Shortlisted teams will submit designs for the 3,000m² building, which must be cost-effective yet compatible with Durham’s world heritage sites and will contain offices, social areas, research spaces and laboratories.

The £13 million building is planned to be between two and three floors high and located to the west of an existing physics facility.

A guide to tendering along with an option to express interest can be found on the university’s website
