Design team sought for surgical block at Sligo hospital

[Tenders to be returned before 10 May] Sligo Regional Hospital in Ireland is on the hunt for architects to design a new surgical block

The six-storey, 25,000m² new-build facility will accommodate a new emergency department and a number of other wards.

Built in the 1940s and later redeveloped in the 1960s, the hospital currently operates over eight floors.

Structural engineers, quantity surveyors, and project managers are also sought for the 54 month contract.
