Design Museum Boston opens street furniture contest
[Entrants must register before 1 February] The Design Museum Boston has opened an international contest to design ‘iconic’ street seating for the city’s Fort Point Channel
Seating will remain on site for six months before being relocated indoors for an exhibition.
Between 10 and 20 semi-finalists will receive £460 to build their submissions.
The overall winner will take home £3,100 with second and third each receiving £1,200
Entrants must register before 1 February
Initial models to be received by 18 February
Fabricated seating to be delivered by 12 April
