Contest opens for New York pop-up exhibition spaces

New York-based Storefront for Art and Architecture has opened an international call for entries to its two month exhibition programme

Ideas for installations which can host exhibitions or events are sought. Submissions can be for any site chosen by the entrant but must be suitable for use between September and November 2014

Judges will consider how far proposals vary from ‘traditional notions’ of gallery and exhibition spaces.

Selected entrants will receive £615 to fund the realisation or development of their scheme.

Proposals must be received as hardcopies or digitally through the contest page by 31 January.
