Contest launched for Brothers Grimm museum in Kassel, Germany
[Request to participate must be completed by 18 August] The city of Kassel in Germany has invited architects to propose a Brothers Grimm museum
The acclaimed writers lived in Kassel for 30 years and the 3,100m2 brief is to design an inner-city museum where manuscripts can be displayed close to the site of their original authorship.
Fifteen entrants will be shortlisted and asked to submit proposals for the project which has a prize fund of €60,000 and a contract for the winner.
The site is close to the Museum for Sepulchral Culture, the National Museum and the Neue Galerie.
Request to participate must be completed by 18 August
Winners will be announced in December
