[Request to participate must be completed by 18 August] The city of Kassel in Germany has invited architects to propose a Brothers Grimm museum

The acclaimed writers lived in Kassel for 30 years and the 3,100m2 brief is to design an inner-city museum where manuscripts can be displayed close to the site of their original authorship.

Fifteen entrants will be shortlisted and asked to submit proposals for the project which has a prize fund of €60,000 and a contract for the winner.

The site is close to the Museum for Sepulchral Culture, the National Museum and the Neue Galerie.
