Contest launched for 300m-tall antenna tower in Turkey

The Governor of Çanakkale in Turkey has launched an international competition to design a 300m-tall antenna tower

Teams are tasked with creating ‘innovative’ design concepts for the project which is hoped will act as a tourist draw.

Costing £31 to enter, the competition has a total prize fund of £110,000, which will be divided between the shortlisted entries and the winner.

The chosen team will be required to partner with a locally registered practice to complete the build which is expected on site during 2015.

Registration and portfolios are due by 27 November through the contest page.
