The Danish Architecture Centre inside this year’s Roskilde Festival is looking for a ‘landmark’ temporary build inside the event’s showcase Apollo area

Practices are sought for an interdisciplinary team for the design and construct of the centrepiece at the music festival, one of the largest in Europe.

Working alongside artists and other construction professionals, ten winners will be chosen to complete the temporary build for the Festival over June 24 to 28.

Entrants may submit video, texts or images to complete their application to be received before 13 June.

Five challenges have been outlined with entrants asked to respond to at least one, ‘what is a good meeting place, how do you get 1,200 people to clear up their garbage, what will our life be like in 2070 and how can seating create social interaction?.
