Call for entries: RIBA Yorkshire White Rose Awards
Entries are being sought for the schemes that highlight the most innovative building projects and architectural practices in Yorkshire for the 2010 Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Yorkshire White Rose Awards
Now celebrating 24 years of best practice, the RIBA Yorkshire White Rose Awards consistently highlight the finest new architecture the region has to offer.
It is anticipated that this year, with the introduction of two new categories celebrating interior design and housing, will see more entries than ever before. Individual awards will be made for conservation, landscape, sustainability and small projects in addition to the new categories of Interior Design and Housing.
The Housing Award is for both private and public sector schemes and can include new build, conversion and retrofit builds of any size over £250,000. This new award is being launched at a time when there is a huge amount of interest in housing both at a regional and national level.
Entries must be received by 4pm on Friday 4 June to go forward to short listing, with the winners announced at a black tie event on Friday 26 November 2010 at Sheffield City Hall.
