Competition opens for World Stage Design 2013

[Submissions must be received by 1 March 2013] The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama is seeking temporary theatre proposals to be built in Cardiff as part of the World Stage Design 2013 festival in Cardiff

The contest is open to students and young professionals who graduated in the past three years. Collaborative proposals are also welcome.

Structures must seat a minimum 100 people, be weather-tight, soundproof and cost less than £20,000

The theatre will be built alongside the city’s Anthony Hopkins Centre (pictured) and is expected to require minimal manufacturing, using sustainable elements and readily available building components.
