Clay Farm community centre, Cambridge

[Requests to participate must be received by 27 February] Cambridge City Council is looking for a design-led consultancy team for its Clay Farm community centre project


A multidisciplinary team is needed to deliver a multi-use community centre on Countryside Propertires’ 2,300-home Clay Farm development 3.7km south of Cambridge which has been masterplanned by PRP.

The scheme will feature community facilities, health centre with minor surgery suite and 20 apartments.

The contract has a £700,000 budget and is due to begin on 11 June 2012.

    "The construction value (and therefore budget) for this project is between £6m and £8m, depending on the final design selected."

    Effective minimum turnover requirement is therefore around £700,000, so talented, capable, financially stable, but small practices need not apply.
