CIOB opens photography competition

[Images must be submitted by 25 July] The Chartered Institute of Building has launched it’s annual photography contest which this year raises funds to support construction in Haiti

Open to any entrant over 18 years old, the contest seeks images which capture the built environment ‘in a way not seen before.’

One winner will be picked from a shortlist of 12 by public vote to take the £2,000 cash prize.

The competition will be split into four categories: Building Inspiration, Between People and Buildings, Creative Visions and Young Photographer of the Year.

Entries may be digitally enhanced or altered and up to three entries are permitted per entrant. Selected photographs will be auctioned to raise funds for Article 25’s initiative to build schools in Haiti.
