Camden council launches search for team to revamp Alexandra Estate school

London Borough of Camden is on the hunt for a multi-disciplinary team to extend the Jack Taylor School inside the listed Alexandra Estate

The successful team will design a ‘hub’ area as a social and education space with up to nine residential units intended to teach students life skills.

With a £3.4 million construction budget, architects fees for the project have been set at 11.5 per cent.

Works will move from an outline feasibility study through to RIBA Stage L. The scheme is expected to complete by July 2015.

The successful design team will be appointed in February 2014.

Expressions of interest are due 18 November through Camden’s allocated page.
