Cambodian housing contest opens

[Registration to be completed by 15 December] Charity Building Trust International with Karuna Cambodia has launched a sustainable housing design competition

Open to professionals and students, the contest invites multi-disciplinary teams and solo-entrants are to propose affordable housing for Cambodia.

Schemes must work to a $2,000 budget which would include basic wash, toilet and kitchen facilities alongside material and labour costs.

Projects should be located inside Cambodia’s capital city, Phnom Penh but should be flexible enough to be replicated elsewhere.

The winning proposal will be built by Habitat for Humanity Cambodia. The leading entrant in the student category will be invited to help construct the winning scheme.
