Cake in the Clouds culinary contest, Battersea Park

[Cakes must be assembled 3 June as part of the event] Architects-led teams are invited to design and bake the tallest cake possible to be enjoyed as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations inside Battersea Park, London

Teams are invited to pair with chefs or to accept the challenge alone. Results will be measured and the winners will be awarded during the 3 June celebrations.

The ‘Cake in the Clouds’ crown will pass to the tallest wholly edible creation which can be cut with an ordinary kitchen knife.

Cake components may be prepared before the event but assembly must take place on the day. Ladders and platforms will be provided.
