Belfast seeks architect for £25m Waterfront Hall exhibition centre

[PQQ to be completed by 15 November] Belfast City Council is on the hunt for an integrated design team to deliver a £25 million exhibition centre at Waterfront Hall

Teams with an ‘evidenced track record’ are sought for the 30 month contract which covers up to RIBA stage D.

Advisory and audit services will be required to Stage L with the project expected to be delivered under design and build.

The copper-domed, circular Waterfront Hall was designed by local architect Robinson McIlwaine and opened in 1997. The £32 million building seats 2,241 in its auditorium.
