Bari railway corridor international contest launched
[Stage one submissions are due before 22 August] The Comune di Bari in southern Italy has launched an international ideas competition seeking proposals for two areas within the city
The contest focuses on the city’s railway hub, where proposals are sought to mitigate divisions caused by the railways, and on the Caserma Rossani where the brief is to create a new park and centre for cultural and economic events.
A total prize fund of £180,000 has been announced with the winner set to take home £39,000.
The winning scheme will be used as an ‘overall vision’ for the area and be developed into a feasibility study.
Stage one submissions are due before 22 August
