Architecture Foundation opens Tidal Thames ideas contest

[Portfolios of completed works are due by 15 July] The Architecture Foundation has opened a design contest seeking proposals for sites along the Tidal Thames in London

Backed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and the Royal Academy of Arts, the contest seeks architect-led teams to take part in a public design workshop in September.

The best entries will be invited to the workshop and material from the event will feature in the ‘Future of London’ section of the Richard Rogers: Inside Out exhibition which runs from 18 July to 13 October in the Royal Academy of Arts.

Interested teams must submit portfolios by 15 July showing completed works in order to be considered. Shortlisted teams will be offered an honorarium to develop their schemes

Entries can be submitted through the contest page.
