[Expressions of interest to be received by 1 March] Research Council UK is now inviting expressions of interest from design teams for the delivery of a new Advanced Metrology Laboratory in Teddington, Middlesex.

The project was officially announced in a speech at Policy Exchange on 24 January 2013 by the Minister for Universities and Science, David Willetts who said the government would be providing an extra £25 million to build ‘a state of the art laboratory for cutting edge measurement research at NPL’.

BIM capability is essential from applicants with a project manager, cost manager and CDM coordinator also called for in separate lots.

Works may include a following round of refurbishments to neighbouring buildings.
