Those interested in entering the competitions for the University of Essex’s £14 million extension to its Albert Sloman Library or the £10 million ‘landmark building’ for its business school should be aware that ‘awards’ count. Five per cent of the ‘objective selection criteria’ will be given to architectural award-winners.
