Crossing the Severn and a football centre of excellence - the inside track on this week’s most promising competitions

Linking the Lands,is a RIBA, RSAW and ICE competition for students and practitioners. The collaboration is intended as an ideas competition for entrants to ‘Design a concept crossing for the sole reason of providing passage over the obstacle of the Bristol Channel’. Deadline is 30.04.10.

The FCO is looking for a practice to take forward its work – currently at RIBA Stage D – on 6000 m² of concrete frame deep footprint open plan offices at the British High Commission, Abuja, Nigeria, deadline is 15.04.10.

Conwy County Borough Council needs architects to work on an indoor football-training ground and centre of excellence. The works are intended to be procured via a single stage design and build process.Deadline is 10.03.10
