Gunnersbury Park Museum, Cassiobury Park restoration and Boston street furniture. The editor’s pick of this weeks top competitions

Ealing Council in London is on the hunt for a design team for the £5.95 million redevelopment of Gunnersbury Park Museum (pictured). Teams must comprise conservation architects, structural engineers and M&E consultants. The project is due to complete by August 2017. [Completed tenders are due by 9 November]

Watford Borough Council is seeking an architect for the £4.2 million restoration of Cassiobury Park. The project includes landscaping, a new ‘hub’ building and a hydroelectric power plant on the site of a former mill. Both architectural and landscape design services are required. [Completed PQQs to be received by 8 November]

The Design Museum Boston has opened an international contest to design ‘iconic’ street seating for the city’s Fort Point Channel. Seating will remain on site for six months before being relocated indoors for an exhibition. Between 10 and 20 semi-finalists will receive £460 to build their submissions. The overall winner will take home £3,100 with second and third each receiving £1,200. [Entrants must register before 1 February]
