OK forget Banksy, graffiti has been on the cultural agenda ever since Pentagram co-founder Mervyn Kurlansky's 1974 Watching my Name go By, a book about graffiti on New York subway carriages. It doesn't count as cultural agenda, of course, when the graffiti is on your latest building. But here's an extraordinary movie, Muto . An animated graffito, it starts with a tracking shot along a graffiti-covered brick wall. A brick is pushed out from the other side and out clambers a creature which lands on the pavement – well you'll have to watch for yourself. The artist Blu is based in Bologna and is currently showing at Tate Modern on London's South Bank in the Big Art Mob Show. Take a look at his website .
