Remember Jennifer Dixon?

Late last year, as the Austin Smith:Lord London office sank due to a mountain of late payments from Abu Dhabi, Dixon maintained the practice had not put a ‘foot out of line’ as it urged its main debtor to cough up the millions owed for months of unpaid work.

The office sadly shut its doors in March. Now Dixon is back – as a head honcho at the London office of HKR.

The one-time AJ100 big hitter has seen its own churn of staff in recent months. As well as the departure of managing director Paul Birch, head of education Simon Innes has also gone, as has Sarah O’Keefe.

Ex-group director and current shareholder Jim Duffy also recently succeeded in winning an unfair dismissal case at an employment tribunal against the practice and has also set up on his own.

Duffy says he is ‘wiser for the experience,’ although he still owed nearly £30,000 by the firm.
