Bombed out

Astragal, readers will be pleased to hear, has been handed his ‘indispensable guide’ to working at the AJ’s new home, Greater London House in Camden. This useful handbook gives the conscientious worker advice for any eventuality. At the back of the binder is a handy ‘Telephone bomb threat checklist’, providing instructions on what to do in the event of someone wishing to blow up the AJ. The reader is told to ask such questions as: ‘Where is the bomb?’. Astragal is rather eager to have this kind of insider knowledge. Question two is: ‘What time will the bomb go off?’. Astragal particularly agrees with this line of quizzing as one wouldn’t want to be in the building should the bomb go off. But Astragal’s favourite is question three: ‘Why are you doing this?’. Astragal is always keen to find a person’s motivation, particularly terrorists. After all it’s not every day you get to chat to one.
