AJ Buildings Library project of the week: Opened in 1937 the exhibition centre is host to 100% Design this weekend

See a full set of original photographs and drawings of Earls Court, one of over 1,000 projects, in the AJ Buildings Library. Built on a triangular site between two Underground stations in west London, the 40,000m² building cost £1.5 million to construct in 1937.

The exhibition centre is one of nine 2012 Olympic venues in the AJ Buildings Library: the main hall will be used as a 15,000-seat volleyball arena during next years Games.

100% Design, part of the London Design Festival is taking place this weekend at the exhibition centre. Visit the AJ at stand D 112, and tell us why you love architects, for the chance to win an iPad 2. Register online to attend.
