Woods Bagot: AJ100 International Practice of the Year

‘At Woods Bagot, we have an exciting and ambitious vision,’ says group managing director Ross Donaldson. ‘By 2010, we will be a global leader in design and consulting underpinned by research.’ Woods Bagot’s commitment to global excellence has resulted in a workforce of 150 qualified architects and 600 staff based in five different regions overseas, in cities such as Abu Dhabi, Adelaide, Bahrain, Bangkok, Beijing and, most recently, San Francisco and New York. This year, the practice completed several flagship projects, such as the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre and the Qatar Science and Technology Park.

Criteria

International Practice of the Year is awarded based on key business data from the international AJ100 survey, such as the practice’s percentage growth in fees and the increase year-on-year in the number of architects employed in overseas markets
