[London Olympics in the AJBL] The temporary Olympic basketball arena will host the basketball event at the Games
One of 14 Olympic projects in the Library, the arena is situated in the north-east of the site near to the Olympic stadium. The third largest venue at the Olympic park, the building is designed to house 12,000 and 10,000 spectators for the Olympic and Paralympic events respectively
Following the sustainability targets of the Games the design allows two thirds of the materials to be recycled or reused once dismantled.
